Adult / Children’s Choir:
Worship is an important part of the Christian life. In fact God created us to worship Him, so it could be said worship is the most important thing we do! At EBC our desire is to lead each believer to draw closer to God through corporate worship. To that purpose we provide an opportunity for each believer, regardless of age, to worship and praise God using the gift He has given, whether that is vocal or instrumental. Join us as we serve a great God together!
Brotherhood / Men in Action:
We offer men's Bible study and encouragement groups. The Men of Emmanuel Baptist Church meet weekly for prayer at 6 a.m. on Monday mornings!
For info, call Richard at 580-819-2383.
D.O.G.S. (Disciples Of God at SWOSU):
Want to grow? Want to have fun? We have in-depth Bible study, a loving fellowship, and lots of fun.
If you have a suggestion or idea, please let us know. For more information, contact Scott at the church office at 580-772-3413, or contact us by e-mail at irbeliever@sbcglobal.net.
Discipleship Training:
Look for our new classes in discipleship training (DT) before the Sunday evening service at 5 p.m. (please give the DT director any suggestions you may have for the classes).
E.T. (Emmanuel Teens):
Girls in Action:
GA members are actively involved in learning about missions, praying for missions and doing live mission projects. Girls also learn and apply Bible verses and begin to understand the role of missionaries in telling people about Jesus.
Fun projects we have done:
Mission Friends:
Royal Ambassadors:
We provide Bible study and activities designed for young men in grades one through six. RAs meet each Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Bring a friend, bring your brother and bring yourself! More information is available at http://www.royalambassadors.org/.
Senior Adults:
We have planned outings at least every month or every other month. Watch the foyer bulletin board to sign up!
For more information, contact Wilma Jean at 580-661-1042, or visit the website at http://www.bgco.org/5118.
Sunday School:
In order to grow one must be fed. The same is true for the spiritual body as well as the physical. At EBC we help meet this condition. We have classes in every age group to meet your needs. Join us this Sunday and get plugged in.
It all begins with our "Conversation, Coffee and Crumpets" (donuts, fruit, rolls, and sometimes biscuits / gravy!) at 9 a.m. in the fellowship hall (northeast corner of EBC). We begin at 9:30 where you can learn with others who are experiencing some of the same life issues you face and find out biblical truths and answers to those situations. You will enjoy the times of prayer where loving caring Christians share with each other. You will find yourself growing as you share in the sweet fellowship. Bible study is the church sharing the love of Christ in all things. Just come to try it out, and allow us to share our God's love with you.
Titus 2:
Titus 2 ministry is designed to meet the needs of today's women. Our goals are to bring women of all ages together, to provide a number of benefits:
This ministry seeks to help women develop their God-given potential as persons of value in their homes, churches and communities, and to involve women in creative service under the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
- Titus 2: 3-6
Wednesday Night Meal:
Join us Wednesday at 5 p.m.-5:45 p.m for a home-cooked fellowship meal. After filling your physical body learn more about the Bible by joining the 6:00 p.m. prayer service too.
Donations are accepted for the meal.
Women on Mission:
We encourage women to embrace and echo God's heart for the world. We strengthen the work by focusing on five different areas of ministries: prayer, discipleship, missions, evangelism and leadership development.
Watch each month in the Baptist Messenger and the Sunday bulletin for scheduled meetings as well as our mission action projects. Below are helpful links:
